We traveled to Iceland back in June and wasn’t sure what to expect during our time road trippin’ around. The music, art, food and landscapes just blew us away. During our stay we did a two day hike over parts of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. The trail is called Fimmvörðuháls. If you have time, do it. You will spend the night in a small hut on the volcano. We heard rumors that in the summer time you can actually BBQ your food on some of the rocks around the hut. Not sure if thats true but it sounds convenient. :)
The hype is for real. Iceland is awesome.
