In a true northern Italian village, far away from tourist crowds and fast food alternatives, that’s where Denise and Marco held their wedding celebrations. They live in Toronto, Canada, but as part of Marco’s family is from Varese they decided to get married in this stunning place. Starting off getting ready at his grandparents house followed by the ceremony up on a mountain, in one of the most beautiful churches I’ve ever seen, it’s safe to say that it was a pretty emotional and epic day.
For any of you who have not been to Varese, if you get the chance to go, take it. It is still a true Italian city where you will be forced to practice the few Italian words you might know already. If you don’t, you will for sure leave with some new additions to your vocabulary.
Denise and Marco, thank you for welcoming me with open arms and letting me be part of your beautiful wedding. It was a great honor. Second most importantly, thank you for inviting me for some of the most amazing Italian food I have ever had! ;)
